There are several key stages during the design period. These are detailed below:

Step 1 - Requirements Definition (591Kb PDF).

All projects begin with the customer’s requirement for a product. This may be formalised in a document, or expressed through dialog. A formal requirements definition provides the basis for consulting suppliers.

Step 2 - Design Proposal (567Kb PDF).

These act as answers to the requirements definition: It outlines our understanding of the customer’s requirement, our estimates regarding project costing(s) and the timescales, using a project plan, involved..

Step 3 - Design Specification (655Kb PDF).

Finally, once all the above stages are complete, the Design Specification will be created. This provides the customer with a detailed overview of the design that we will undertake.
